Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 May 2026

This page explains what data Daily Kickoff Quiz ("we", "us", "the site") collects, how it is used, and the third parties involved. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.

Data we store on your device

We do not require an account. To remember which question you've answered today and your current streak per difficulty, we save a small amount of data in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information about requests (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for advertising or analytics profiling by us.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This may involve the collection and use of standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information, including:

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

Cookies

Beyond localStorage, this site itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party ad providers (notably Google) may set their own cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages, but we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. EEA, UK, California) you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we don't operate user accounts, the simplest way to exercise these rights for site-level data is to clear your browser data. For ad-related data held by Google, use the Google Ads Settings link above.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
